You're invited to cruise the fascinating Kawhia harbour on our 66 passenger, heritage vessel, "Lady Kawhia".
Kawhia harbour is steeped in Maori and European history and is the ancestral and spiritual home of the Tainui tribe...the skippers may, if it's a heritage cruise, point out many of the historical landmarks, which includes the burial place of the Great sea-voyaging waka "Tainui and the old pa sites of "Te Rauparaha, the famous warrior chief of Ngati Toa, considered to be the Napoleon of the Maori world.
Kawhia harbour also has some very unique natural wonders that can only be seen by boat, so your harbour cruise will not only be a scenic delight, but very informative also.

Lady Kawhia: Harbour cruise with full history commentary - approx. 2 hours - cruise goes all the way to Te Waitere and return - 66 pax. capacity - $50 per adult - $25 per child (3-15 years)...(Not available till early January)
Child Rates: These apply to children between the ages of 3 and 15 years - under 2 is FREE
